Guide to Proper Waste Sorting
In accordance with Legislative Decree No. 116 of September 3, 2020, and in line with Decision 97/129/EC, RDM Pack is committed to providing its customers with all the necessary information for the correct management and disposal of packaging materials. The goal is to facilitate proper waste sorting and offer consumers clear guidance on the final destination of packaging once it becomes waste, thus contributing to a more responsible and sustainable resource management.
General Disposal Guidelines
Please follow these essential rules:
- NEVER discard packaging or products in the environment.
- Properly separate the different components of the packaging.
- Reduce the volume of the packaging, when possible, before placing it in recycling bins.
- Always check your local waste disposal regulations.
Material classification and codes
For each packaging type, the following information is provided:
- The material composition
- The corresponding European classification code (per Decision 97/129/EC)
